UPS welcomes Rose Ndango

The Aerology Laboratory (LAERO), University of Toulouse III – Paul Sabatier (UPS-UT3), recently welcomed Ms Rose Ndango, a laboratory manager at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (I.I.T.A.), Yaounde, Cameroon, and recently appointed I.I.T.A. representative for the INSA project.

Rose spent one month working with Maria Dias Alves and Eric Gardrat in the Aerology Chemistry Laboratory. She worked primarily on conditioning and analyzing rain and aerosol samples collected by the INDAAF network.

In addition to being an opportunity to develop and refine her technical skills, the secondment also provided Rose with the chance to compare and correlate water analysis activities carried out in the lab in Cameroon with activities in the Aerology lab. The secondment was valued by both sides, with a universal appreciation for the opportunity to exchange knowledge across continents.

Rose is planning to return for a second secondment in spring 2024.
