April 2022

In February, the INSA project held its first workshop in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. The workshop was an unequivocal success, bringing together scientists, students and stakeholders to discuss, share and debate about nitrogen in Africa. Follow the link below to read more about the workshop.

2022 has also seen an easing of travel restrictions, leading to an increase in INSA project activity. So far seven new secondments have started and nine are expected to start in the next three months. Read about some of the most recent secondments below.

Recall that the objectives of the INSA project are to propose a synthesis of studies on nitrogen in Africa, and promote capacity building, skills strengthening and knowledge transfer between European and African experts on the topic of nitrogen in Africa. A project brief is available here together with a flyer about the project.
